The Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization, staffing two fire stations in the Town of Lysander, Onondaga County, NY. BCSFD is responsible for providing fire, rescue, and emergency services to the residents of the Belgium Cold Springs Fire District.
The Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department was founded in 1949. BCSFD is responsible for providing fire, rescue, and emergency services to the residents of the Belgium Cold Springs Fire District.
Belgium Cold Springs Fire Department operates as a “combination” Department, our volunteer members and career Firefighter/EMTs work together side by side to provide fire and EMS service to our community. We welcome anyone interested in volunteering to contact us today. We are always in need of Active Members to assist with fire, rescue and EMS service. We also have Support Members (non-responding members) who assist with our non-emergency activities throughout the year (Pancake Breakfast, Chicken BBQ, Annual Fund Drive, Installation Banquet, etc.)
BCSFD is a community-oriented Department with our members involved in many functions outside of our Department such as fire prevention education, community EMS training, public outreach programs and assisting with various events that take place in and around our District (i.e. ARC Run, Radisson Founders Day, and many more).
